I'm a digital and print writer and editor based in New York City. My specialties and interests range from writing and editing lifestyle content (food, travel, parenting, style) to doing a range of editorial work for non-profit organizations I believe in. I've worked with many prestigious media brands and non-profits in the U.S. and worldwide, including NBC, Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Women's World Banking, The New York Times, Food & Wine, Time, CNN, Forbes, Time Out New York, and numerous others. I write long and short-form pieces, edit writers, supervise editorial teams, launch verticals, ghost-write, and juggle a variety of editorial projects. My memoir (Jasmine and Fire: A Bittersweet Year in Beirut) was published by Broadway Books/Random House, and I've contributed to publications including a best-selling cookbook and The Best Food Writing anthology series. Links to some of my work can be found on the Portfolio and Books pages, and under ArchivesThanks for visiting.
